We designed bespoke livingwall cladding for a geodesic dome installation at a school in Burnley. These domes housed aquaponic systems, and educated students about future growing systems including greenwalls and edible vertical growing systems as well as gardening and horticulture in general.
The build nears completion, with the livingwalls designed to fit to the exterior of the domes at this school in Burnley, in the north west of the UK.
The aquaponic ponds and water tanks which will feed the hydroponic vertical gardens are visible from above.
We designed custom livingwall panels for this project, using aquaponic irrigation systems. We used solar power and recycled materials to minimise the carbon footprint.
