Energy

We only specify solar powered irrigation and lighting wherever possible. We only use electric rechargeable tools: no petrol mowers or strimmers.

Water

Water wise. Our systems are designed to be drought tolerant from the outset, and recirculate water or harvest rain water wherever possible. Water is too precious to waste.

Materials

Cradle to cradle. We use recycled materials, that are in turn recyclable, meaning installations are carbon neutral from day one. In nature, there is no such thing as waste.

Labour

Educate and inspire. We work with young people training in the horticultural industry, preparing people for the jobs of the future. Specialist horticultural trades are not easily replaced by robots.

Planting

Native, and diverse. We have a strong emphasis on native species, and varied and biodiverse planting, and always try to source our plants from local plant suppliers.

Soils

 Waste not, want not. We use recycled, specialist lightweight growing media inoculated with fungi cultures. In doing this we can further divert waste from landfill.

Treatment

 No chemicals. We only use organic fertilisers and insecticides. In the event of any pest issues we only use natural solutions such as nematodes and predatory insects.

Monitoring

 Smart monitoring. We have developed our own wifi-enabled moisture, light and nutrient sensors to relay environmental data to us in real-time, helping us to make smarter maintenance decisions.
